VATNASAFN / LIBRARY OF WATER

by Roni Horn

VATNASAFN / LIBRARY OF WATER is an Artangel / Steidhl publication that surveys the interconnecting elements of Roni Horn’s long-term project on the island through a series of image sequences and texts.

The book includes a selection of writings by the artist inspired by her experience of being in Iceland as well as essay contributions from Briony Fer, Professor of History of Art at University College London, Adrian Searle, senior art critic for The Guardian newspaper and two of the Library’s writers–in-residence Oddny Eir Ævarsdóttir and Guðrún Eva Mínervudóttir.
